Sky Broadband is offered either in either bundles with Sky TV or is available as the stand alone Sky Connect service. Customers can choose a whole combination of Sky’s popular services such as Sky plus, Sky HD and Sky Multiroom. When you choose Sky TV you have a choice also of a variety of tv mixes including Sky sports, Sky TV and Sky world. 

Sky+ has become massively popular now so people can record multiple programmes for playback in the future. Sky+ gives DVD playback functionality allowing user to pause, rewind and forward. This gives far more control and convenience to users so they can control their television viewing.  

Sky TV customers also have access to Sky box office enabling them to view the very latest box office movies from the comfort of their armchair for a 24 hour one of fee of around £3.99. This is so much more convenient than having to pop out to your local blockbuster to hire a movie and then having to return it once you are finished. With so many more people now having large screen plasma or lcd TVs people visit cinemas less now so Sky box office provides a great service. 

You can also have the ability to have Sky in multiple rooms with the Sky Multiroom. The Sky engineer will install a box and cabling into the room you want it. Customers will normally pay an extra £10 per month per room, plus a one off cost depending on whether they have a standard Sky box, a Sky+ box or a Sky HD+ box. If you wanted Sky+ in several rooms then you may need to have your existing satellite dish changed so it has more l & b’s.  

Sky offer probably the most comprehensive digital TV services in the UK and have the biggest customer base. Sky offer a whole variety of interactive services to their Sky TV customers such as games, Sky bet and shopping. 

Customers of Sky TV also have access to excellent support and help via their Sky remote control and sky box. These include remote control codes if you were trying to program your Sky remote control to work with your brand of TV. 

Sky Talk gives customers either free weekend calls or unlimited calls depending on which package you opt to include with your Sky broadband and TV bundle. You keep your existing telephone number and use the phone as normal. The calls just get directed via Sky rather than your current phone provider which would most commonly be BT.
