What is Nuria?

Nuria is a free speedtest application that measures the performance of your broadband connection. Nuria is freeware.

How does it work?

After installing Nuria, the program will run in the background and perform tests at regular intervals, about once an hour. This ensures you will get detailed and accurate test results of your broadband connection.

What does Nuria test?

Nuria performs four types of tests:
Surf-speed: measures the time it takes to access several major portals.
Download-speed: tests the download speed of larger files from several different hosting locations in the UK.
Game-speed: tests the ping-response time to several different servers in the

UK. Upload-speed: tests the upload-speed (sending data) to several servers in the UK.

How do I use Nuria?

After downloading and installing Nuria, Nuria will run in the background and perform tests at regular intervals. Clicking on the Nuria icon in the traybar, will bring up the report-screen showing the results for your connection. These reports also show benchmark information which allows you to compare your results to other comparable broadband connections.
